In the News: Webb named to top 10 best attorneys in state by institute
CHARLESTON – Charles “Rusty” Webb of the Webb Law Centre has been selected for membership to the 10 Best Attorneys for the State of West Virginia. The honor, given by the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys, is one that the Charleston-based attorney is proud to accept.
“I don’t really know what the criteria they use is to determine the attorneys, but I’m honored to be named,” Webb told The West Virginia Record. The attorney, who has been a member of the West Virginia State Bar since 1987, has created one of the best firms in the area specializing in personal injury and high conflict divorces.
Though he wasn’t privy to the qualifications he was judged upon, Webb believes it was his dedication to his clients that makes him stand out.
“Some personal injury attorneys will take all of the settlement and the client either receives nothing or very little. I make sure my clients get their share,” Webb states.
The testimonials on Webb’s site are not just explanations of what Webb has done for them, they’re all messages of thanks. There’s a recurring theme in his clients’ gratitude that portrays the exact type of lawyer Webb is; one who cares.
“You’ve impressed me, not only with your formidable knowledge of the law, but also with your gracious sense of humanity and kindness. I consider you not just a good attorney, but a good friend,” reads one testimonial, proving that Webb’s approach to law is to be first and foremost a good person.
“My clients are in my web of security,” he said with a chuckle.
The lifelong West Virginian is incredibly humbled by the nomination and will be continuing to provide exceptional service to those he’s privileged to represent.
The American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys is one of 13 divisions of the American Institute of Legal Counsel. The institute was established in 2014 with the mission to recognize the efforts of attorneys like Webb who are dedicated to their clients with an incredible knowledge of the law.
According to the institute’s website, to be considered a top 10 attorney in areas such as personal injury, DUI, family law, or litigation, an attorney must be nominated by the institute, a client, or fellow attorney. Additionally, the attorney in question must also have “attained the highest degree of professional achievement in his or her field of law” and have “an impeccable Client Satisfaction rating.”
